Anne Elizabeth Goodman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1933 - 2017 Anne Elizabeth Goodman, 84, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 3, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born on August 8, 1933 in Montpelier, Va., a daughter of the late Leon and Rose Gammon Harris. She was also preceded in death by six siblings. She was a member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church and volunteered at Cabell Huntington Hospital for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Charles Linwood Goodman; two daughters, Doris Latour (Emile) and Joan Bardsley; one son, Charles Goodman Jr.; one sister, Lois Corker; one brother, Edward Harris; one beloved sister-in-law, Shirley Harris and five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Steve Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be sent to the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital 1340 Hal Greer Blvd. Huntington, WV 25701. Oh Charlie,Doris, Joan and Chuck, I am so saddened and sorry that my dear sweet Anne has left us. My heart breaks for you all but I hope you take comfort in the fact that she is not alone. She is with all her family and my parents too. She was the kindest and most soft spoken woman I ever knew. I will miss her too. All my love, Becky Brown DiMattina
