Cecil Wendell Pinkerman, 85, of Willow Wood, Ohio went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at River’s Bend Health Care Center, South Point, Ohio. He was born May 9, 1932 in Cabell County, WV son of the late Raphael Cecil and Irene Aliff Pinkerman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria Adkins Pinkerman; son Franklin Pinkerman; one sister Deloris Hillier; one brother Keith Pinkerman; and daughter-in-law Lisa Pinkerman; He retired from Ohio River Company and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife Mary M. Pinkerman; two sons Steve (Tammy) Pinkerman of Willow Wood, Ohio and Andrew (Shelley) Pinkerman of Chesapeake, Ohio; four grandchildren Michael (Amanda) Pinkerman, Jonathan Pinkerman, Sarah Pinkerman and Nathan (Brittany) Pinkerman; five great grandchildren; four sisters Louise Esque, Geraldine Wright, Mary Sacre and Karen Jones all of Huntington, WV; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Larry Comer. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
