Opal Jewel Martin, 73, of Ona, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born on July 13, 1944 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late James Henry and Rena Alice Mays Payton. She is also preceded in death by husband, Clyde Raymond Martin. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Holley of Milton; two sons, Clyde Martin (Kathy) and Glen Martin (LouAnn) both of Ona; two brothers, Darrell Payton (Linda) of Ona and Clarence Payton (Nellie) of Huntington; six grandchildren and their spouses, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Evangelist Anthony Mays and Rev. Hewlett Trogdon officiating. Burial will follow in the Templeton Cemetery, Milton. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
