Christi Leigh Basile, 43 of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018, at her home. She was born on October 15, 1974, was a graduate of Huntington East High School and attended Marshall University. Those left to mourn her passing are her father, Ronald Basile, her mother, Nancy Lovett, her maternal Grandmother, Janet Lovett Sheppe, her brother, Josh (Lindsay) Basile, nephews Malakai and Ezekiel and niece Cienna Basile, her sister, Marcie (Eddie) Stapleton, nephew Gage and niece McKinley Stapleton. Additional survivors include numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandfather B.H. Lovett, paternal Grandfather Daniel Basile, paternal Grandmother Sheila Basile, Step-Grandfather Joseph Sheppe, and cousin Jeremy Jarrell. Christi was an outgoing, beautiful, and caring person. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. Although there is no formal service planned, a private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
