Dennis Ray Brown, 78, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2018, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born December 18, 1939, in Man, WV, a son of the late Dennis Bilton Brown and Mildred Louise Wingler Perry. He was a member of Rush Masonic Lodge #715 F. and A.M. He served Rush Lodge as chaplain for many years and was a past master of Rush Lodge. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Covington, KY. He was a member of Rush Chapter of the Eastern Star #546. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Clarke, brother Teddy Brown, and sister Linda Parks. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Brown; two daughters, Jerrie Brown McCoy and Tessa Johnson; four siblings, Roy Brown, Carolyn Cook, Diana Woolum, and Jerrie Lynn Daniels; grandchildren, Robert Lockey, Brandie Guerrero, Jeff McCoy, Kristopher Banfield, Austin Johnson, and Jacob Johnson; and one great granddaughter, Bryanna Guerrero. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. A masonic service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, by Rush Lodge #715 F. & A.M. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Buddy Muncy.
