Charles “Cookie” Brammer, 72, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Sycamore Run Nursing and Rehabilitation, Millersburg, Ohio. He was born January 25, 1946 in Huntington, WV son of the late Elwin and Marcella Riley Brammer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Karen Cremeans. He was a Vietnam War Navy Veteran. He was a member of the DAV, Huntington, WV and Ironton, Ohio V.F.W. Post 8850. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Brammer; two sons Leslie Brammer of Florida and Joe (Teresa) Lemley of Proctorville, Ohio; one daughter Yvette Adkins of Proctorville, Ohio; five grandchildren Christopher (Elana) Adkins, Kristina Adkins, Lacey Lemley, Arlene Lemley and Rhonda (Hassan) Ismail; six great grandchildren Kaydee Adkins, Jaxson Adkins, Logan Gillespie, Braxton Parsons, Sophie Ismail and Sammy Ismail. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. V.F.W. Post 8850, Ironton, Ohio will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
