Walter Lloyd Mayes, 57, of Ona, WV, went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2018. He was born October 10, 1960, in Milton, WV, a son of Emma Plumley Mayes of Ona, WV, and the late Ralph Mayes. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Shull Mayes; three daughters, Amanda Rea Mayes, Hannah Marie Mayes, and Katelyn Ciara Mayes; one son, Christopher Lloyd Mayes; two sisters, Deborah Kay Young (David) and Teresa Mayes. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Kevin Shull. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Lloyd requested donations be given to the family.
