1937 - 2018

Mary Lou Justice, 80, of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

She was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Magoffin County, a daughter of the late Malcolm and Roxie Collins Wireman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnie Justice, in 2009; a son, Timothy Justice, in 2017; a grandson, Shane Justice in 2011; brothers, Ronald Wireman, Donald Wireman, Larry Wireman, Malcolm Wireman Jr., and Boyd Miller; and sisters, Airmine Whittaker and Polly Ann Wireman.

She was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods.

Mary and her husband owned and operated J.J. Restaurant in Ashland. She worked tirelessly to ensure her customers received exceptional service and were treated like family. She will long be remembered for her kind, loving spirit and willingness to help anyone in need.

Those left to cherish her memory include her grandson, Ryan Justice of Ashland; brothers, Ondie Wireman of Hueysville and Rick Wireman of Magoffin County; sisters, Carrie Joseph of Mount Sterling, Mollie Sturgill and husband Dennis of Tazwell, Tenn., Violet Pitts of Mount Sterling and Farlie Wireman of Magoffin County; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Rev. Eugene Haney and Rev. Lloyd Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
