Ernest H. "Ernie" Daniels II, 41, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1976, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of Ernest H. Daniels and Brenda Helms Daniels of Ashland.
Ernie was a 1994 graduate of Paul Blazer High School and attended Shawnee University on a baseball scholarship. He worked as a sales service representative at Cintas. He was an avid outdoorsman and musician. He sang with Yesterday's Gospel and recorded two cd's.
He showed Mastiff's as a owner handler in various conformation competitions. He had a great love of God and family and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Ernie is survived by his wife, Shannon Wilson Daniels of Ashland; sisters, Rebecca Donze (Kyle) of Algonquin, Illinois, and Angela Daniels of Ashland; father and mother-in-law, Ken and Stephane Wilson of Ashland; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Pastor C.J. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
