Hazel Alice McDonald, 69, of Chesapeake, Ohio entered with our Lord on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born December 23, 1948 in Asheville, NC daughter of the late Edna and Harry Tolley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael McDonald, Sr; one son Delver Mullins; one daughter Deanna McDonald; two sisters Ada Tolley and Haddie Ann Fielding; and one brother-in-law George Fielding. Hazel is survived by nine children Lonnie (Danielle) McDonald, Johnny Mullins, Michael McDonald, Jr; Tracy McDonald; Danny (Chrystal) Mullins, Jimmy Mullins, Larry (Joanna) McDonald, Scotty (Angel) McDonald and Sarah (Aaron) Mayo; three very special grandchildren Hazel has raised as her own, Labella, Dominic and Alaya Snyder; a multitude of grandchildren; two brothers Buddy (Dee) Tolley and Harvey (Sharon) Tolley; and several nieces and nephews. Hazel was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She would welcome anyone in her home and help them the best she could and Hazel loved all her grandchildren. There was not a weekend she would go without having all of them at her house. Hazel was a good hearted woman and will be truly and deeply missed by all. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Butch Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemont Memorial Gardens, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
