I was so saddened and shocked at Rhonda's passing. We had just visited with her a week before she went into the hospital. It was so nice meeting her mother who Rhonda wanted me to meet her because we shared the same birthday. She the Musical Director in a show I was in, "Company" presented by the Charleston Light Opera Guild. I am so blessed that my friends and I were able to have one last lovely day with her. I will always remember her. Blessings to her mother in the loss of her child.

To me Rhondda was always bigger than life. I admired her so much. I find comfort in knowing that she lived her life to the fullest and did not waste a second of it. Rest in peace, dear one. Condolences and love to all that knew this wonderful lady and especially to her mother.

Rhondda, I’ve been wrapping my head around things. I wanted to tell you Thank you. Thank you and Mary Crabtree for picking little chubby me at 8 years old to play multiple roles in Perils of Pinocchio at CCT. For casting me in Ichabod, Sleepy Hollow a year later and putting me in the type cast role I would end up playing into my 20’s. Thank you for telling my parents I should audition for CCP shows and then intern at CCP. You encouraged me to be a jack of all trades. To live and love every aspect of theater. How to own my big girl body on stage, but mostly you taught me love and passion for what set my life course. You allowed me to ask questions even up into my adult career. Always gracious to help me and guide me. My parents looked forward to your annual letter and my dad considered you a dear friend. You were a mentor and thespian I aspire to be.
Because of you, I chose my college, Mars Hill for their program with SART. You encouraged my move to NY. You were more than just my mentor. You helped make me who I am today.
Thanks for fostering so many of us kiddos we love you so much. We were blessed to get a piece of you.
Sing with the angels Mama, Ms. Rhondda.

Rhonda--Your life spanned further than any of us could imagine, yet, when you returned to Milton and West Virginia, we claimed you for our very own. Your musical abilities and theatre talent unsurpassed anyone I know, and I am so overjoyed that you were willing to share it with others. But, above and beyond that, you also were such a loving friend to so many as well.....myself included. May you now find the internal and eternal peace you have always longed for, my friend.

My deepest love and prayers are with Rhonda and her family.
One of the greatest influences in my early career with The Alpha Omega Players. On stage and in life she was an amazing woman and friend.

Rhonda was a dear friend and colleague when we worked together at the Cumberland County Playhouse. Her talent was extraordinary, her laugh was one of the greatest I've ever heard and she was a truly beautiful human being. Love to all her friends and family from Gabriola, British Columbia.

Rhonda was our dear friend and sister in the Lord. I remember so well how she heard that I was being ordained one Sunday in 1997 and that she drove a long way just to be there. We love her, and were always awed by her talent and her outreach to "unreachables." Enjoy your reward in heaven, dear girl.

My sympathy to Mrs. Wallace. I knew Rhonda from 4-H and she was a great inspiration to me. We met years ago—my parents were Gene and Evelyn Boggs from the Pendleton Camp of Gideon’s and thought warmly of you and your husband. I was surprised then to find you were also the mother of Rhonda. God’s comfort be with you.
