Rose Ann Lewis, 66, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018. She was born July 11th, 1951. She was raised in Ironton, Ohio by the late Myrtle Carpenter and Rodney Boggs. Rose married Roman Edward Lewis on July 25th, 1977. They were married for 39 years. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings, Ina, Curtis, Martha-lee, Madge, Louise, Jimmy, and June Climmins; 2 siblings who passed away at birth; her son, Dustin Edwards Lewis; and step-daughter, Ramona Lewis. She is survived by her sister, Alma; her brothers, LeeRoy and Erinie; her sons, Darren (Joyce) Bishop, Christopher Bishop; her step-daughters, Paula (Eric) Bissonnette and Tara (Jeff) Roland and a granddaughter she raised as her own, Sarah (Travis) Jeffers . Rose was blessed with 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Rose worked as a Manager at Check n’ Go and was also employed by Cardinal Cleaners before her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, reading the Bible and spending time with her family whom she held very close to her heart. Rose played a significant role in the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 5, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home located at 625 County Road 775, Proctorville Ohio. Burial will follow at Woodmere Cemetery 641 Norway Avenue, Huntington West Virginia. Gathering of friends and family will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the funeral home.
