Jonathan "Jon" Michael Parsons Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1965 - 2018

Jonathan On Thursday June 7th, 2018, Jonathan “Jon” Michael Parsons passed away peacefully with his loving wife Melissa at his side. Jon always enjoyed a good adventure and left us for his next adventure this morning. He was 52 and courageously fought lung cancer for the past seven years.

Jon, who was born in Ireland on September 23, 1965, grew up in Milton, WV and graduated from Milton High School.

Jon is survived by his wife of eight years, the love of his life, Melissa Constantino Parsons. He is also survived by his brother Jeff Parsons of Huntington. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Susan and Jess Parsons also of Huntington.

Jon was a very talented, hard-working and respected contractor whose handiwork can be found throughout the Huntington area. Jon enjoyed the outdoors and over the years found great enjoyment in the rivers out west, hunting, Ocean Isle Beach and sky diving. Jon was fortunate to have a terrific group of of friends, especially his lifelong friends from Milton, who provided him much love, support, strength and laughter. Jon’s quick wit will never be forgotten and his one liner “Beanisms” will continue to provide fond memories for his family and friends for the years to come.

The loving care Jon received over the last seven years has been an absolute blessing. Melissa would especially like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Cabell Huntington Hospital, his loving family at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center of Huntington and the caring staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.

There will be no services.

Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
