Brenda Kay Sanders, 69, of Crown City, OH passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born November 18, 1948 to the late Nathan and Leota Bower Conkel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Jeff Sanders; two brothers Paul Conkel and Frank Conkel; and one sister Carol Leive. Brenda retired from Shelley Construction and she was on Crown City Council. She was a member of Crown City Community Church. Brenda is survived by one son Keith (Crystelle) Sanders of South Point; daughter-in-law Joy Sanders of Lesage, WV; three granddaughters Candace Hart, Autumn Oden, Michelle Crank; two grandsons Jeff Sanders and Nathan Sanders; two sisters Ellen Wilson of Columbus, OH and Charlotte Miller of Columbus, OH; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be conducted 2p.m. Monday June 11, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH by Pastor Randy Thompson. Burial will follow in Crown City Cemetery Crown City, OH.
