William Walter Tilley, Sr.
Wheelersburg-William Walter Tilley, Sr. 77, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his residence. William was born August 23, 1940 in Portsmouth to the late William Bernard and Garnet Ketter Tilley. He had worked as an operator at Pepsi. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lewis and a sister, Margy Burgess. William is survived by his wife, Peggy Jo Copley Tilley whom he married May 2, 1960 in Sciotoville. He is also survived by a son, William Walter Tilley, Jr. and a daughter, Falecia (Hugh, Jr.) Boggs. Also surviving are four brothers, Bernard Sr. (Janet), Robert, (Sue), Earl (Terrie) and Richard; a sister, Patty (Charlie) Keller; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, June 25, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Parker Mollett officiating and interment to follow in the family cemetery in Kentucky.
