Michael Knapp, 69, of Chesapeake, Ohio walked through the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born December 2, 1948 in Parkersburg, WV son of the late John and Frances Knapp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Knapp. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Judith Wyant Knapp; two children Travis Knapp (Meghan) and Tessa Knapp (Bill) Galloway; five grandchildren Liam, Emma and Izzy Galloway, Madison and Brody Knapp; and one brother Dickie (Barbara) Knapp. He attended Ceredo Christian Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Chris Day officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
