Lyle Eugene Sowards, Sr., 93, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Arbors of Marietta, Marietta, Ohio. He was born February 4, 1925 in Cabell County, WV. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Sowards; his parents Bert and Lona Saunders Sowards; and step son Tim Adams. He is survived by his son Lyle Eugene Sowards, Jr of Marietta, Ohio; one step son Chuck Adams of Huntington, WV; and grandson Jacob Braxton Sowards. He retired from Body Builders, Inc. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
