When the lilacs bloom in the sunlight and the whippoorwill sings in the night, I will remember you forever. A. Virginia Crawford, of Proctorville, Ohio born May 31, 1930 in Union Ridge, WV passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at home after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents John Van and Mary Lydia Mount; her husband, Charles Eustace Crawford; her son-in-law Bruce Ferris; a brother and his wife John and Betty Mount; and two sisters and their husbands Lucille and Bernerd Meadows, and Wilma and Jack Massie. She is survived by one son David (Jane) Crawford; three daughters Mary Crawford, Beverly (Robert) Stephenson and Tina (Charles) Shellkopf, all of Proctorville, Ohio; grandchildren Lee (Leona) Carter, Michaele Crawford, Jared (Christain) Crawford, Savanah (Jarrod) Herrell, Sommer Jeffers, Rachel (Travis) Wilson and Tatianna Shellkopf; great grandchildren Ashton (Morgan) Smith, Trey Bailey, Emily Combs, Ava Herrell, Tucker and Averi Wilson, and Damon Crawford; one great great grandchild Virginia Rose Crawford.
