Nora Lynn Stephens, 87, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away Saturday September 8, 2018 at Holzer Senior Care, Bidwell, Ohio. She was born March 10, 1931 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Roma and Myrtle Kitts Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Charles Franklin Peters and John Stephens, Sr.; and two siblings Ivan Christian and Emma Jean Sowards. She is survived by one daughter Patricia (Rick) Smith of Bidwell, Ohio; one son Ron (Kathy) Peters of Bidwell, Ohio; nine grandchildren Trisha (Jeff) Finley, Sue Ann (Drew) Dunkle, Jaime (Courtney) Viladiu, Holly Peters, Mandy, Corey, and Ricky Smith, and Ashley and Shaina Stephens; ten great grandchildren, R.J. Garber, Meghan McDaniel, Weston Peters, Dane and Nora Dunkle, and Kirklin, Kaitlyn, Wyatt, Savannah, and Alexis Smith; one great granddaughter Brelyn Smith; and one sister Dorothy Moore. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Friday September 14, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
