James H. “Coke” Wiseman, 75, of South Point, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. He was born February 24, 1943 in Waterloo, Ohio son of the late James and Dorathy Burd Wiseman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law John Boggess, Darrell Shafer and Art Shively. He is survived by his wife that he married March 31, 1965 in Wise, VA, Sandra Roach-Tredway Wiseman; one son James Troy (Lori) Wiseman; two grandsons Tristan James Wiseman and Ian Snell; one brother, Clarence (Cheryl) Wiseman; five sisters Wilma Boggess of Ironton, Ohio, La Ray (Al) Hieronimus of Carthage, TN, Ruth Shafer of Ironton, Ohio, Sue (John) Fetters of Minford and Carlene Shively of Winston-Salem, NC; brother-in-law Darrell and Daisy Cron of Shelbyville, TN; sister-in-law Melody Myers; and lots of nieces and nephews. He graduated from Waterloo High School in 1961. He worked at Wilson Sporting Goods and retired from Lawrence County, Ohio garage. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Wilgus Fairview Cemetery, Wilgus, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
