Ronald  Lee KelleyRonald Lee Kelley, 81, of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 12, 2018 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV surrounded by his family, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Ron was born May 27, 1937 in Wayne, WV son of the late Wayne “Cute” Kelley and Erie Blankenship Kelley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Kelley and Willis (Sharon) Kelley. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lisa Kelley; daughter Diane Kelley of Cincinnati, Ohio; son Brian (Liz) Kelley of Columbus, Ohio; nephew Wayne (Diann) Kelley of Huntington, WV; niece Tina (Sam) Hott of Virginia; several great grand nieces; and a great grand nephew. Ron was a 1955 graduate of Huntington East High School. He retired from Ashland Oil/Marathon No 2 Instrument Shop. He is an eight year Air Force Veteran, member of the American Legion Post 640 in Chesapeake, Ohio, and the South Point Masonic Lodge No. 496. He attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Huntington. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the mausoleum of Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio with Pastor Kevin Mackey officiating. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
