Donovan “Don” Danford, 69, of Willow Wood, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at home. He was born March 27, 1949 in Huntington, WV son of the late Don and Hilda Pyles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ron Pyles. He is survived by his sister Susan VanderBerg; niece Lisa Bandy; nephew Michael (Love) Robertson; uncle Russell Danford; several nieces and nephews; special cousin Keith (Margaret) Smith; special caregivers Jean Walters and Brandy Burgess. He was a member of Greasy Ridge Church of Christ and a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. IN lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Greasy Ridge Church of Christ. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Greasy Ridge Church of Christ 5964 County Road 2 Chesapeake, Ohio 45619 by Minister Barry Kelley. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
