Russell Junior Bragg, 90, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday December 11, 2018. Prior to his death, Junior resided at Wyngate Senior Living in Proctorville, Ohio. He was born June 12, 1928 in Proctorville, Ohio son of the late Russell William and Sophia Marie Bragg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Atha “Sally” Bragg and their infant son Gary Douglas Bragg; his brothers Jimmy and Billy Bragg; and his sisters Imo “Tootsie” Sexton, Taccie Lockard and Ester “Ann” Washington. Russell is survived by two daughters Linda (Marty) Bell of Lucas, Texas and Joyce Ash of Nicholasville, Ky; and four grandchildren Heather, P.J.(April), and Patrick (Christina) Ash, and Lacy (Josh) Keith; three great grandchildren Jacob, Ellen and Adelyn Ash; six siblings Hilda Stephens, Carroll (Becky), Victor (Diana), Everett “Rocky” (Sandy) and Roger Bragg, and Juanita (Ronnie) Bechtol; one brother-in-law Frank Lockard; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dear “adopted” daughter, Joyce “ReRe” Jones. Junior was a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday December 16, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Oho. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday December 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
