Butch Jackson, 75, of South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at home. He was born January 23, 1944 in Bell County, KY. son of late Walter C. Jackson and Marjorie Morrison Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter Lisa Jackson Wilson; one sister Lynn Marie Jackson; and one brother Tommy Jackson. He was employed at Owens and then the U. S. Post Office for 34 years. His years of service with the post office made him number 1 in seniority at every office in Huntington, WV; but, spent most of his time in the Veterans Memorial Boulevard branch. He is survived by his loving girlfriend Janet Frye; two daughters Marjorie Jackson and her spouse Gerald “Buddy” Ledet, and Jolynn Jackson; one son Wesley Jackson; and seven grandchildren Alexxis Jackson, Madison McCoy, Jordan Jackson, Korbin Jackson, Annie Jackson, Kane Jackson and Ryder Jackson. He loved motorcycles and fast cars. Visitation will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with a memorial service to be held at 7 p.m., with his long time friend, Anthony Mitchell officiating.
