James Leonard Morris, 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at home. He was born November 11, 1943 in Mann, WV son of the late James and Ruby Morris. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Morris; and a sister Doris Dickerson. He is survived by a son Tyler Morris of Chesapeake, Ohio; two daughters Beverly (Rodney) Lambert of Proctorville, Ohio and Stephanie Bradshaw of Chesapeake, Ohio; special daughter-in-law April Pine Morris; seven grandchildren Savannah and Bentlee Morris, Kylee and Rylee McGlone, Bradley Lambert, Sierra Bradshaw and Khloe Scarberry; one sister Patty Burnette of Logan, WV; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sylvia (Robbie) Paynter of Chesapeake, Ohio; brother-in-law Boyd Vance of Logan, WV and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
