1970 - 2020
Paul Stephen Adkins, 49, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020. He was born July 25, 1970 in Parma, Ohio, a son of the late Ralph and Leona Poline Adkins. He was a former employee of Heiner’s Bakery and was a veteran of Desert Storm having served in US Army as a combat medic. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Salmons Adkins; five daughters, Paris Adkins, Tori Adkins, Jackson “Dani” Adkins, Piper Adkins and Zoie Bouniady; three sisters, Janette (Ray) Adkins- Kamps, Lisa Adkins-Cowgill and Patricia (Bill) Adkins-Dobbins; one brother, Bill Dohm; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Loyce Johnson of Salt Rock; and very special friends, the Deering Family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Steve Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wallace Funeral Home to assist in funeral services. I am so very sorry for your loss. I went to school and graduated with Paul. He was a great guy. Miss his personality. I would see him in bville working or at church. Many prayers in this time of sorrow

Will never forget Paul. His stories, laugh, and watching him put off fireworks last July. Gonna miss smellin his food cookin on the grill along with sittin outside. He would hollar down at us jokin around and then roll laughin. Mel I hate knowing the pain your in. Try to remember, he loved you with all his heart. You guys have been my above neighbors for around 6 years and its definitely not gonna be the same.

To my brother I never got to meet. I am so sorry for your passing. I am also so sorry I can’t be there for you. I had a shoulder replacement and can not fly yet. I so glad I got to talk to Paul before he passed away. May God bless him and Rest In Peace. I hope to meet you later down the road.
