Glen Alvin Smith, 87, of Wayne, WV passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born March 11, 1932 in Pike County, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta May Kimble Smith; his son Roger Keith Smith; his parents Goble and Verna Smith; and two brothers Clifford Douglas Smith and Thomas Clinton Smith. He is survived by his children Linda (Greg) Macri, Brenda Sue Adkins (Keith), Glenda Ann (Tim) Hazel, Teresa Spear, Claretta Denise (David) Maynard, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Smith and Robert Glen Smith; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother Doug Smith; and two sisters Jacqueline and Vera Jean. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
