Richard Louis Ruckh, 88, of Chesapeake, Ohio, formerly of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at The Heritage Center, Huntington, WV. He was born July 25, 1931 in Wheeling, WV son of the late Carl and Anna Koutsky Ruckh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Ruckh; three sisters Alma Hercules, Dorothy Hanlin and Sandra Anders; and two brothers Billy Ruckh and Junior Ruckh. He is survived by three daughters Karlln Chambers of Chesapeake, Ohio, Di’Ann (Al) Derr of Valley Grove, WV and Alicia (Randall) Blake of Wheeling, WV; seven grandchildren Devinh (Wes) Gibson, Andy (Breanna) Dietrich, Eran (Amanda) Haber, Anna (Kennen) Jarrett, Aubry and Delanie Derr, Brandon Ruckh and Madison and Marshall Kidd; 10 great grandchildren Emma, Garrett, Kameron, Baeleigh, Izzi, Logan, Halia, Hazaiah, Kaydence and Kennen; one brother Donald (Nancy) Ruckh of Wheeling, WV; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Snoopy. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a devout family man “Family came first”. Private family services will be held.
