Taaron Daniel Bowman, 55, of Huntington, WV entered this world on February 20, 1965 at The California Hospital in Los Angeles, CA to his parents Ruthenia McFatridge Fain and Lewis “Skeeter” Bowman. He crossed over into eternity on March 31, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Ryan Roger Mayo. Taaron was an avid sports fan and anyone who knew him knew that his FAVORITE team was the Los Angeles Lakers. If you were in his presence and the conversation turned to basketball, look out because the conversation was eventually going to be taken over by him and his vast knowledge of the game and the team. He would run down every stat for the team as a whole and could give you stats on all of his favorite Laker players. It didn’t matter, win or lose, he was always going to root for and defend his team. In addition to sports, Taaron was a lover of music, his favorite being R&B and Smooth Jazz. Taaron himself was a gifted sax player all through school and loved to listen to music by some of his favorite jazz sax players, the likes of Gerald Allbright, Boney James, Najee and Dave Koz to name a few. In 2017 he got to see Gerald Albright in concert, during a weekend birthday celebration with friends. That was the highlight of the weekend for him. On April 23, 2017 Taaron made the decision to re-dedicated his life and choose Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized into the family of Christ at New Life Church in Huntington, WV. He often said, that was THE best decision he ever made. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Andrea McClinton Bowman, his two beautiful daughters Sydney Danielle Bowman and Lyndsey Taryn Bowman, his mother-n-law Audrey McClinton, his uncle James McFatridge, and a host of other family and friends. A closed funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
