1924 - 2020

Winona Eloise BartramWinona Eloise Bartram, 95, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2020 following a short illness. Born October 10, 1924 in Cabell County West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elgia Lee Edwards and Ruby Morrison Edwards. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Franklin Bartram. They were married for 69 years and 10 months. Winona was also preceded in death by three sisters, Juanita (Clark), Thelma (Sweat), Dreama (White) and one brother, Leland Edwards. Winona worked in the banking business for 27 years, retiring at the age of 70. She was known by her bright smile and helpful attitude towards her customers. Her most important role, however, was that of a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joys were cooking and caring for her family. She will be forever missed by the ones she left behind. Winona is lovingly remembered by her children; David (Judy) Bartram, Philip (Stella) Bartram, and Deborah (Alan Spitz). She will be missed by her 9 grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Bartram, Shelly (Steve) Marshall, Megan Bartram, Kimberly (Monte) Welch, Shawn (Megan) Bartram, Ashley Bartram, Joshua Spitz (Elicia), Jeremy Spitz and Amanda Spitz (Ian). She was also blessed with 11 great grandchildren, Hannah Bartram, Gabriel, Abigail and Madeline Marshall, Justin, Jared and Jacob Welch, Addison and Olivia Bartram, Danielle and Cameron Dunfee. She loved watching Charles Stanley every Sunday morning on TV and said that he was her pastor. In lieu of flowers we ask that you make donations to Hospice of Huntington. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 12 to 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
