Patricia Sue Holbrook Lemasters, 75, of Ironton, Oh went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 19 at KDMC. Trish was born September 2, 1945 in Floyd County, KY to Burl and Sally Webb Holbrook. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Carl Lemasters in June 2000. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was converted and joined Old Oak Springs United Baptist Church January 1983 where she remained a faithful member for 37 years. Trish is survived by her son, Mark Lemasters and granddaughter Julia (boyfriend Wyatt Ford) of Ironton, OH. She is also survived by two brothers; Jim (Phyllis) Holbrook of Grayson, Ky and Burl "Buddy" Holbrook of Ironton, two sisters; Bernice Unrue and Brenda (Carl Branham) of Ironton, 6 nephews; James (Lori) , Bobby (Julie), and Chris (Christi) Holbrook, Adam (Becky) and Matthew (Mary) Unrue , and Stephen (Rachel) Branham and 4 nieces April (Jeremy) Justice, Elizabeth {Travis) Blair, Sandy (Michael) Newell, and Vicky (Jason) Humphrey which she loved very much and treated as her own as well as 4 great nephews and 11 great nieces, and two great-great nieces. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brotherĀ in-law, Alan Unrue. Trish will be missed greatly by her family. Trish's greatest joy was taking care of her son and granddaughter. She enjoyed shopping with Julia and hearing about the things she was learning and doing in school. You could hear the love and pride in Trish's heart when she shared stories of Mark and Julia to others. Trish loved to cook and one of the most cherished memories of her will be of her homemade pies and dressing for Thanksgiving. So many family memories are tied to Thanksgiving at her home. Though Trish was only blessed with one child she was always there to help with her nephews and nieces and took great pride in their accomplishments as well.
Trish was a homemaker for most of her life but enjoyed the time she spent working with Quality Care Home Health. She was the type of person that never meet a stranger and truly enjoyed getting to know those she worked with during her time there. Trish's greatest hope would be to see all her loved ones make peace with our Lord Jesus Christ and know that they will see her again in heaven. Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday, September 23 at Old Oak Springs United Baptist Church Ashland, KY officiated by Elder Lewis Baier, Elder Joe Salyer, and Brother Adam Unrue. Visitation will be held before the funeral from 12-2 also at the church. Burial will be in Holbrook Family Cemetery in Ironton, OH.
