 Michael Scott Adkins, 33, of Branchland, passed away October 15, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Gordon Adkins Cemetery. He was born July 26, 1987 in Huntington, a son of Terry and Andrea Gue Adkins, of Branchland. Also surviving are his wife, Amy Stamper Adkins; one daughter, Amya Stamper; son, Chason Adkins; Step-son, Tyler Stamper; sister, Sandra Adkins (Dustin Ball) of Ashland, KY and his maternal grandmother, Hazel Gue, of Branchland and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. First met Michael when Amy stopped by dads to introduce her husband. We got to chat awhile and he was happy that they were expecting a little boy in Dec. Michael spent a big part of the summer working on an old shed with my brother always polite and had some good family stories. It’s sad to see such a young man pass and our prayers go out to Amy their children and family. May Michael Rest In Peace. Love Aunt Jackie & uncle Bill
