 Peggy Jeanne Bennington
WHEELERSBURG-Peggy Jeanne Bennington, 59, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at home. Peggy was born February 4, 1961, the daughter of Wanda Bennington Burton and the late H. Troy Bennington. Peggy was a registered nurse and co-owner of Alternative Nursing and Home Care before her illness. Peggy had a creative knack for crafts and was an enthusiastic Boy Scout advocate. Peggy is survived by her son, Morgan Charles Bennington, mother, Wanda Burton (Rich), Sister, Tammy Hightower (Virgil), one niece, Heather Starr (Jon) and their children, Jane, Jon and Joe. She is also survived by her aunt, Audrey McGinnis and many uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank all the health care workers that helped care for Peggy these last few months.
Services for Peggy will be 11:00 am Friday, January 29, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 and one hour before the 11:00 am service on Friday. COVID restrictions require masks and social distancing.
