Ronald Curtis LovinsRonald Curtis Lovins, 65, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born on November 11, 1955 in Huntington, WV. Ron was preceded in death by his sister Myra Denise Lovins; grandmother Bessie Bentley; father Noah Lovins; niece Amber Felice; aunts Lillian, Betty, Renee, Edith, and Marie; uncle Bucky; special brother Dave Tincher; Poochie Bucci; and a host of many more family and friends. Ron leaves behind to grieve his departure his mother B. Jo Ann Bentley; children Ronald E. Lovins, Kristina Hernandez, Sean Lovins, Curtis Lovins, and Alex Lovins; grandchildren Kami Grace Dempsey, Xoe Brooke Jennings, Reagan Depontes, Nixon Hernandez, and Sebastian Lovins; brother John Anthony Felice; sister Tamatha/ Jimmy Gauze; special mother of his first born, son and great friend Trina (Lovins) Clay; special dear brother James/ Rhonda Pack; special dear cuz-brother Jimmy Cline; special niece Breahna Stirling, for she was by Ron’s side through so many ups and downs and had a heart of gold that truly loved him. Her great memories of his laughter of just being able to pick at her and he loved her like a daughter! She was his person he could count on to call and always protected her and said those big brown eyes always tugging at his pant leg when she was little; nephews and nieces John Anthony Felice and Madison Walters; special fur baby crew Murphy Lee, Rosie, Jayce, Gage, Juno, Carlo, Whitley, Bosa, and Dexter; a very great bond/ brothers The Blue Knights and Motorcycle Club; special friends Joanne Tincher, Tammy Bucci, Debbie Pack, Jeff Kimble, Bruce Stroud, Gina Menendez, Doug Demayo, and Mike Bancroft; special daughter Courtney Tincher/ Sipple and Tina Perry Queen; and special family that Ron always loved, The Barker Family, Ervin, Ethel, Lorene, Dorothy, Blanche, Jo Ann, Barbara, Ray, Ralph, Oscar Jr., Alvie, Charles, Tina Queen, Gary Perry, Brian Barker, Debbie Queen, Rhonda Pancake, Greg/Shawn/Kevin Barker, Dina Queen, Gina Simmons, Dale/Doug Barker, Cliff/ Gary Nelson, Ricky/ Keith/ Rick Barker, Shane/ Todd Dillion, Lisa Plymale, Jeanie Moore, Janet/Sue Stafford, Mary Butler, Beverly Bowman, Pat/Steve/Russell White and Angie Ramey. Ron was a retired Police Officer and started his career as a Man in Blue in Kermit, WV. He served as a Police Officer in Delbarton WV, Chapmanville, WV, and The City of Williamson before going to Jacksonville City, in Florida and serving there. He loved Law Enforcement and was one of the most Intelligent man we knew when it came to any law, code, or regulations. While serving as a Police Officer for the Town of Delbarton, WV, he graduated the WV State Police Academy Valedictorian of his class. We all were so proud of his careers and accomplishments. Ron was a Veteran and belonged to the American Legion. God Speed Our Loving Son, Father, Brother, Best Friend, Nephew, Cousin, and Uncle. Ron was a Christian and taught his young sons about God and going home in heaven! A Gathering for Family and Friends will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory: 625 Ohio 775 Proctorville, Ohio, 45669, Wednesday, January 28, 2021 from 5 to 9 PM with the service starting at 6 PM. There will be a special Last Ride for Ron at 3 pm from the funeral home for those who want to be there for this special ride and can follow the short procession from and back to the funeral home. Due to weather, the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club will not be able to attend the ride. He will be missed by us all... GOD SPEED!
