Mildred Marie Bowen “Gramma”, 85, of Crown City, OH, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 2:21 A.M. at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband George Mackey Bowen “Grampie” (1999); granddaughter Natasha Dawn Valle; and parents Harry and Garnet Johnson. She leaves behind three daughters and two son-in-laws; DruAnn and Kevin Keairns, Terri Cooper, and Jan and Ken Law; eight grandkids; Kayla and Adam Niece, Kellie and Jay Love, Matthew Keairns, Deetria and Donnie Jones, Breana Cooper, Megan and Tyler Kunze, Gabrielle Law and Elijah Law; eleven great grandkids; Levi, Luke, Jay Carter, Jaylieanna, Gerald, Colt, Tallon, Kevin Ray, Jenna, Lyzzie, and Logan; a sister Sue Rossiter; a brother Joe Johnson; several nieces, nephews, and friends; all though she loved ALL her Grands, Matthew and Elijah were her boys. She is missed and loved, but we know we will see her again soon. Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM Noon, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Jay Love officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 1 Corinthians 15: 51-55 "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”[h]55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
