Carroll G. Bragg, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio, husband of Rebecca Bailey Bragg whom he was married to for 65 years, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2021, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born July 19, 1937, son of the late Russell and Marie Edwards Bragg. Along with his wife, Rebecca, he is survived by four children, Carroll E. (Debbie) Bragg, Dianna L. (Roger) Duncan, Jeff A. (Kelly) Bragg and Lori Bragg; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Stephens and Juanita Bechtol; and three brothers, Rocky, Roger and Victor Bragg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Jr., Jimmy and Billy Bragg; and three sisters, Imo Sexton, Taccie Lockard and Ester Washington. He served in the U.S. Army, worked for the Nickel Plant for 12 years and also worked as an independent contractor building homes for many years. He was also an honorary member of Proctorville, Ohio V.F.W. Post 6878. Carroll was an incredible family man, extremely hard worker, lived respectfully and will leave behind an amazing legacy of enduring love. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Harold Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
