SILAS LEE of Huntington, WV, infant son of Olivia Eve Taylor, went home to be held in the arms of Jesus on September 9, 2021, at the age of 10 months and 27 days. Silas was born on October 12, 2020, in Huntington. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, John Bowen, and great-great-grandfather, Willard Bowen, both of Scottown, OH; great-grandmother, Suzanne Ranges of Montgomery, TX. In addition to his mother and adoptive father, Michael Broce, he is survived by brother, Ezra Willard Mattox; grandparents, Rebekkah and Graham Leitner of Huntington and Keith Taylor of South Point, OH; great-grandmothers, Bobby Bowen of Huntington, Pam Morrison of Ona, WV, and Dreama Taylor of Gallipolis, OH; great grandfathers, Larry Taylor of Gallipolis, OH and Paul Ranges of Montgomery, TX, great-grandparents, Patricia and Jack Broce; great-great-grandmother, Joan Bowen of Scottown, OH; uncles Jackson Taylor and Zane Fennimore of South Point, OH; aunts, Seora and Adalyn Leitner of Salem, VA; great uncle and aunt, Adam and Amanda Bowen of Crown City, OH; Great uncle, Marshall Taylor; and cousins Austin Tackett, Jordan Bowen, and Alyssa Bowen of Crown City, OH; as well as a multitude of prayer warriors and friends all over the world that carried his name to our Father constantly. Even though Silas was with us for such a short time, his life truly impacted others beyond measure. God used him to draw people into a closer relationship with Him and to unify and strengthen the bond of his family. He was blessed with a loving family and was a blessing to even those who never got to meet him personally. Now he is safe in the arms of Jesus, pain free and whole. Until we are all together again sweet angel, rest well. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the funeral home.
