Henry Donald “Red” Clay, 95, of Huntington, passed away March 22, 2024. He was born September 3, 1928, in Cabell County, WV, son of the late Gordon Clay and Grace Rayburn Clay. He was retired from Bell Atlantic. He was also preceded in death by his wife Genevieve “Ginny” Ferguson Clay, son Jonathan A. Clay, siblings Mildred Afton Wheeler, Myrtle Gordon Roy, Wanda Bryan Hutchinson, Sherwood Douglas Clay, Helen Eloise Clay, Lowell Landon Clay, and Howard Caylor “Cade” Clay. He is survived by one son Joe and Sandy Clay of Barboursville; four grandchildren Brandi Ball, Jonny Clay, Tyler Clay, and Scott Berry; and several great grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum. Entombment will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
