Max Devone Ludlum Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1953 - 2024 Max Devone Ludlum, 70, of Lexington, Ky., born June 5, 1953, passed away on April 24, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Eddie Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery, Branchland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Barbara Ann Gelfman Ludlum, infant daughter, Brandy Ludlum and brother, Tim Ludlum. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ludlum; son, Brandon (Tonya) Ludlum; granddaughter, Aubree Ludlum; sister, Toni Gaston; and three nieces, Rachael Shephard, Melissa Mitchell, and Natalie Lamm. He was owner of Bluegrass Lighting, Lexington and he loved his dogs, deep sea fishing and gardening. Visitation will be from12 to 1 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. You are in our prayers. Bob said it is hard to beleive Max & Tim are not with us any longer & hard to think they were as old as they were. They were so much fun together and I guess the last time we got to visit both was at the Ludlum reunion in 2013. Our journey here on earth is getting shorter & shorter. Love you guys.

We willl miss you dearly Max. You were one of our favorite clients and always made us laugh and smile. I will always remember you dressing the babies in Hawaiian shirts, track suits, tutus, and pearls because you don’t go to the doctor naked so neither could they! Your Banfield family has missed you dearly over the past few months while you were ill and we will continue to miss you , but I pray that you are at peace and in comfort in the glory of God’s eternal light.
