Frances Morford 1921 - 2006 Frances Hildreth Morford, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio, formerly of Vienna West Virginia, passed on to a better place Sunday April 2, 2006 at home, after an extended illness. She was born ins Spencer West Virginia on May 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Va Roy Hildreth and Addie Steele Hildreth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John W. Morford; a son John W. Morford Jr.; three brothers Charles, Jack, and Willie Hildreth; and two great grandsons Bradley and Seth Elliott. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Thomas Day of Proctorville; grandson Jeff (Kim) Day; and granddaughter Kellie (Ron) Hunt all of Proctorville; two great granddaughters Brianna Day and Morgan Elliott; sister Louise (Clen) Furr of Vienna, West Virginia; daughter-in-law Patricia Morford of Apollo Beach, Fla; brother-in-law Dr. Warren (Vivian) Morford of Chesapeake; several nieces and nephews and a special friend Jean Rogers of Chesapeake. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Hospice of Huntington for their care and kind words. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 5, 2006 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery.
