Evelyn Ward Mills 91, of Huntington, died Sunday October 6, 2002 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev's Lucy Hottle, Trent Eastham and Brian Sweeney, at 11:00A.M. Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Henson Mortuary.
Burial will follow in Woodmere memorial Park, Huntington W.Va.
She was born March 9, 1911 in Wayne Co. W.Va.,
A daughter of the late Christopher & Garnet Fellure Ward.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded by her husband Noval Mason Mills in (1986).
She was a retired cook at Gallaher Elementary School, and was a member of the Beverly Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law. Carol Alley of Huntington, Rev. Shirley & Lue Wang of Burke, Va. (5) Grandchildren Cheryl & David Howerton of Huntington, Susan & Timothy Pelfrey of Honolulu, Hawaii, Carol & Charles Cochran, in Atlanta, Thomas & Amy Alley of Princeton, W.Va., David Wang of Reidsville, N.C. and 7 Greatgrandchildren, Jeremy, Madison, Howerton, Thea Pelfrey, Joseph, Hampton, Leigh Ann Alley and Conner Wang.
Pallbearers will be Roger Graham, Thomas Alley, David Wang, John Baisden, John David Sobolise the Honorary Pallbearers are David Howerton and Timothy Pelfrey.
Visitation wil be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday 10/8/2002, At Henson Mortuary.
