OPAL MAE HOLTON, 79, of Salt Rock, died Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 17, 2002, at Henson Mortuary by the Rev. Robert Adkins. Burial follows in Green Valley Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born May 28, 1923, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late James and Ouillie Jeffers Cremeans. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Holton in 1998, and a son, Glenn Holton in 1978. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Salt Rock. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Marsha Holton of Salt Rock; daughter-in-law Becky Holton of Barboursville; sister Lois Ferguson of Barboursville; five grandchildren, Chris and Chad Holton of Irmo, S.C., Gillis DeWitt of Pensacola, Fla., Bethany Keyser of Salt Rock and Paul Holton II of Huntsville, Ala.; and great-grandchildren Morgan, Eric, Nick, Meredith and Sullivan Holton, Tyler, Justin and Andrew DeWitt, and Bryce and Alex Keyser. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2002, at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville. Pallbearers will be Danny Keyser, Chuck Jobe, Jim Caldwell, Robbie Holton, Rickey Holton and Ronnie Ross.
