MABEL VERONA MASON, 88, of Huntington died Sunday, August 11, 2002, in Sweet Briar Care Center, Dunbar. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at Henson Mortuary by the Rev. Warren Dean. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born February 1, 1914, in Cabell County, W.Va., daughter of the late Arthur and Laura L. Warden Jarrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Forest Mason in 1996. Mrs. Mason was a member of Barboursville Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Collins of St. Albans, W.Va.; grandchildren Rick Collins of Milton and Laura Heizer of Lincoln County; and great-grandchildren Christopher Collins and Sky Heizer. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at Henson Mortuary.
