FRANCES E. SMITH, 83, of Huntington died Thursday, July 11, 2002, in St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Henson Mortuary by the Rev. Bill Cassady. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born April 29, 1919, in Huntington, daughter of the late William and Julia Kyle Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo L. Smith, in 1976. She was a homemaker and member of Thomas Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Judy Smith of Lesage; one daughter, Barbara Smith of Huntington; grandchildren and their spouses Richard L. Jr. and Lisa Smith of Huntington, Carla and Perry Chaffin of Proctorville, Ohio, Katonda Meadows of Huntington and Kimberly Meadows of Ohio; six great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Dustin Kyle. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at Henson Mortuary.
