
CECIL E. ROMINE, 82, of Huntington died Friday, March 21, 2003, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Nehawka, Neb., a son of the late Harry Romine and Minnie Adkins. He was a member of Grace Gospel Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army 13th Air Force, 307 Bomb Group, South Pacific, during World War II. He was a retired machinist from Huntington Alloys, where he worked 41 years. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Willa Eileen Hatfield Romine; children, Cecilia and Ed Kreuger of Springfield, Ohio, and Dr. Van and Becky Romine of Siler City, N.C.; grandchildren, Sondra and Frank Kreuger and Ivan, Micah and Lori Romine; one sister-in-law, Wilda Hatfield; two brothers-in-law, Ted Hatfield and Erskine and Kathleen Hatfield; and niece and nephew, June Smith and Eddie Cobb. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Clifford; and one sister, Reba. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Grace Gospel Church with the Rev. Keith Weibe and the Rev. Jerry Matt officiating; burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Henson Mortuary and one hour prior to service at the church.
