Garnet Belva Spurlock of Huntington passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 2, 2003. Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April5,2003 at Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sue Jarrett officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born February 9, 1910, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Cora Burnett Jeffers. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by a grandson, Wayne White; a sisiter, Francis Smith, and brothers, Boyd, Lloyd, and Vance Jeffers. She was a homaker and member od Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, Pea Ridge Women's Club, Pea Ridge Garden Club anda volunteer with the American Red Cross. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Spurlock; sonand daughter-in-law Gene and Sara Spurlock of Gallopolis, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Cora and John White of Proctorville, Ohio; brothers, Charles Jeffers of Eureka, Ohio, and Ray Jeffers of Akron, Ohio;grandchildren Timothy and Krystal Spurlock, Anne and Todd Borch, Robin and Brian Schrader; and great grand children, Caden Spurlock, Garin Spurlock, Kyle and Riley Schrader. Freinds may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2003 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville and one hour prior service time at the church. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Huntington.
