Dear Bethel and Pat, I'm so sorry at your loss. Tim was so good to my grandmother (Dinah Lucas) she loved him-as one of her own. I will remember him always-For this corruptible must put on incorruptible, and this mortal must put on immortality. May God forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Sincerely, Rick Adkins

Dear Pat, Bethel, David, Becky and families: I wanted to let you know that all of you have been in our thoughts and our prayers. I want you to know how truly sorry we are for your loss - mere words can't describe it. Tim was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met...he brightened the lives of everyone who was blessed enough to know him. I can't help but smile when I think about him. I hope that the memories, or the smiles they create, never fade for any of us. As much as he was loved, he will be missed even more. God Bless. Love Randy, Christina, Patrick and Samantha

Dearest Pat and Bethel, Words can't express how sorry I am about Tim. Mom and Cec kept me updated when Tim was ill in our daily conversations. Mom and I laughed and cried during those calls. I remember when I took Lindsay and Justin to the beach house in 1991. Tim went with me to take the kids minature golfing. He baked monkey bread and brought it to them. He was so good to them and was a help to me. Lindsay remembers him and was also upset to hear about his illness, then his passing. I don't know why such a wonderful person's life was cut so short. Although he brought more joy and happiness to more people than many people do that live twice his age. You have been truly blessed to have a child like him. Thank you for raising such a kind an caring son. When things get difficult take your right hand and place it on your left shoulder, take your left hand and place it on your right shoulder...and squeeze. Know you are being hugged by all those who care about you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Valerie, Lindsay and Justin

Dear Family of Tim, My heart was saddened as I read in The Herald Dispatch, via internet, of Tim's passing. It was indeed a shock. I remember Tim as one of my sixth grade student's at Highlawn Elementary. He was a delightful little boy who loved everyone & was always caring toward those around him. Another shock, perhaps more of a surprise, came just over four years ago. My husband passed away & at his memorial in Myrtle Beach, I looked down the isle & saw a young man, unfamiliar at the time, walking toward me. As he approached, I saw it was, Timmy, one of my little sixth grade student's from Highlawn Elementary. He was surprised to know that I remembered him. How could I forget? We embraced, I cried a little but my heart was lightened to know that this handsome young man had cared enough to drive several miles during Christmas time to pay his respects. He updated me about his employment & his family whom he loved very much. I'll remember Tim & his final act of love toward me. May your heart be lightened to know that Tim was loved as he shared love with others. Most sincerely with my love & prayers, Betty Smith
