MRS. GENEVIEVE M. GUINN, 85, of Huntington, widow of Yule T. Guinn, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in Mariner Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 25, 1918, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Walter Patrick and Kate Simpson Miller. She attended St. Joseph High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked in sales at Sears Department Store. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia McComas; brother, Leon Miller; sisters, Catherine "Cacky" MacPherson, Rita Alexander, Marie Brooks and Teresa Miller. Survivors include her son-in-law, Homer McComas of Huntington; four grandchildren, Mike, Mark and Matt McComas, all of Barboursville, and Betsy Brotherton of Milton; nine great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Irene Miller of Barboursville; brother-in-law, Kenneth Owen of Portsmouth, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Betty Miller of Charleston, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Henson Mortuary by her nephew, the Rev. Father Leon Alexander; burial in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
