Yvonne "Dana" Payne, 67, Beloved Mother and Grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2004. She was born in North Carolina on September 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Wade Deal and Lona Stein Deal. She was the former secretary for Ullom Realty and attended Barboursville Baptist Church. Surviving are her children Terri and her husband, Mike Newman, of Barboursville, Greg and his wife, DeeAnn Payne, of Troutman, N.C., three grandchildren Steven Newman of Barboursville, Brandon and Ashley Payne of Troutman, N.C.. Also surviving are her sister-in-law Cindy Deal of Taylorsville, NC and a niece Audrey Deal. She was preceded in death by her brother Leon Deal. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2004, with funeral services held at 8:00 p.m. at Henson Mortuary with Rev. Craig Coster and Rev. Chelsie Gibson officiating. Graveside and burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, N.C.
