LILLIAN IRENE CASDORPH, 84, of Barboursville went home to be with the Lord April 8, 2004, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born July 6, 1919, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Hiram and Mae Wilson Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanton Eugene Casdorph, in 1998. She was a retired cook from Barboursville High School and was also active in dinner preparations at Bates Memorial Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her children, Linda and John Stewart of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Brenda and Donnie Jelks of Orlando, Fla., and Eugenia and Roger Harris of Barboursville; sister-in-law, Joy Davis of South Point, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, William and Willa Jean Davis of Huntington; grandchildren, Christina Painter, Kelly Heffner, Tara Stewart, R. J. Harris, Ryan Harris and Kibbee Jelks; and great-grandchildren, Trey, Bryan and Austin Harris and two on the way. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Bates Memorial Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dana Sutton and the Rev. Jean Sutton officiating; burial in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at church. Sons-in-law and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Henson Mortuary entrusted with arrangements.
